2nd Coming of FANS

Surprise...surprise...surprise. Just when some thought we were a one trick pony or one and done, we the FANS showed up out of no where.

Our mission was simple. Show up unannounced to a city council meeting with no arena on the agenda and to let everyone know we have not forgotten about the arena and to not forget about us because we are going no where.

We also wanted to show the council that not only do they hear our voices but we hear their voices too. This was our way of showing we can work together to get this done.

We selected Jan 17th despite the Strong Mayor Initiative and Charter Reform on the agenda. It was a BIG calculated risk for us and it paid off.

We had 30 strong in our group and over 20 are new members that did not attend Dec 13.

You cannot see it but up close we saw the smiles on the faces of the council members as they loved what we said and when we gave them their white FANS T-shirts.
