Maybe Kings should trade for Pau Gasol
Jason Thompson & Marcus Thornton & John Salmons for Pau Gasol
Lakers need young players, backup SG, and 3P shooter.
Kings need a star, a leader, a Vlade-style man to conect Cousins-Evans, just what he does in Lakers(conect Bynum-Kobe).
Kings lineup:Cousins Gasol Garcia Evans Jimmer
Lakers lineup:Bynum JT Barnes Kobe Thornton

/press release from NBA League Office cancelling the trade.
Really, you think they’re going to let John Salmons, the NBA version of The Plague, get traded to the league darlings?
Even though the voices aren't real, they have some pretty good ideas!

I like how you're okay with Otis dancing drunken and naked in the midst of 85mph traffic
and dreamguards holding Kupchaks LIFE at ransom, but the trade itself is what you decided to point out is wrong with that scenario.

Threatening to pull the trigger will be the only way Kupchak is talked into this trade.

Are you suggesting this is pookey?
Asked if the Kings had any intention of trading Cousins, basketball president Geoff Petrie said, "No."
"Make that deal?"

Not as long as I’m standing behind 6" of bullet proof glass!"

I approve of this trade
and any trade involving Salmons for a player that can actually play decent ball. Don’t know if LA would approve, unless they think MT is their future for some reason.
L.A. is still trying to make a run at a title
No way they make that trade.
all Petrie would need for this to work
is a gun and a ski mask
No sure how a couple of 2nd squad bench players and a bpoat anchor (Salmons)
works out for the Lakers.
No one would make this trade if they wanted to keep their job.
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.
C'mon guys, this deal is totally doable
All we have to do is throw in something extra . . . like, say, Cousins.
It comes down to reality
And it's fine with me 'cause I've let it slide

I would trade our whole team for Pau Gasol
Minus Reke & Cuz. Unfortunately the lakers would laugh in our face

Serbia, Czechoslovakia...Whatever.

Rocks are free, and slingshots easily stolen. And for a limited time, every third person who follows me on Twitter (andy_sims) gets a free ice cream cone.
Which I will eat.

I was hoping that the Jazz would resign Fesenko
Just because I think it would be amazing to see he and Kanter do some “wild and crazy guys” skits. I’m pretty sure both of them would be down.
Can we trade Salmons to a country where the dollar is so shit that his contract will look like a bargain?
At USC we're not snobs, we're just better than you.
Oh you mean like to america?

Just what we need....
A soft big man that shoots jumpers and disappears in clutch games.
"I had 2 laugh at ths..I was playing my oldest son Zaire on his nerf rim & he dunked & said Gibson while screaming..L2MS Kids u gotta luv em" - D.Wade on Twitter
Pau?
C’mon shoot high here. Trade those guys for Dwight!
Wellll......
…Mitch would likely break his chair in laughing on that one, but I COULD see us being in the conversation with similar pieces if it somehow helped them land Howard and/or Williams. So long as our pick or DMC wasn’t involved, I’d be down.
Imagine:
Fredette (to NJN)
Garcia (to LAL)
Hickson (to NJN)
Metta (to NJN)
Bynum (to ORL)
Gasol (to SAC)
Goudelock (to ORL)
LAL first round pick 12 (to NJN)
Williams (to LAL)
Harper (to SAC)
Howard (to LAL)
Saves NJN a significant amount of cap room, and gets them a young piece and some nice transition role players; gets Kings a major big without losing Reke/DMC; gets ORL a young C and a young building block in exchange for Dwight; gets LAL the new lineup they need to dominate.
