I am pleased with this

although the usual caveat of “the devil you know etc etc” applies, I am not all that convinced that there can be a flip flopping wet blanket out there who is any worse than Shady Sheedy. Perhaps she can get elected to a local PTA and attempt to stop frivolous playground expansions or lunch menu upgrades!

Interesting take

by the Sacramento Bee editorial staff on Sheedy’s proposed public vote and its potential negative effect on the whole city parking leasing issue. They appear to be soundly against a public vote on the issue and Sheedy’s attempt to force a public vote.

Well, yeah.

I think their basic point is, “This is why we have a City Council”. If this city’s government can’t follow normal procedures of city governance, Sacramento will continue to be a city spinning it’s wheels instead of become a real destination of growth and opportunity.
