I like what Smart is doing here
I think Salmons is more comfortable at the 2 spot and Greene deserves the nod. This gives us a good defensive matchup in the back court…
should shut down their backcourt
i wonder who will be guarding LA
Wait, we're starting Greene AND Salmons?

Salmons at SG?
Asked if the Kings had any intention of trading Cousins, basketball president Geoff Petrie said, "No."
Not so much fun
35 and 31. I'm calling it now. Reke and Cousins 1-2 in most improved award both All-stars. Jimmer leads rookies in scoring, passing and Ole's. Make 2nd round of playoffs and Salmons is not here by seasons end.
Only one way to go.

announcers are greating some really bad karma for the Blazers
no wonder they have so many freak injuries!
By the way
Announcers said something like “Cousin’s didn’t like Westphal, Cousin’s won”. Umm, yeah, a little more complicated than that, thanks.

So bad
At allowing space for defender to get through screens on D, and simply go through the motions of setting and using them on offense (screens set way too far away from defender and man with the ball doesn’t use it well). This is basketball 101 man! They should be able to clean it up in one practice. I just don’t get it.

Yeah. Love the logic.
Cousins is always in foul trouble. Therefore he won’t foul now, because he wants to take more shots and can’t if he gets another foul. So ignore the past, he’s just going to play no D. Huh?

its just that they have several uncontested layups to adjust their average. Happens to the Kings frequently.

LMA and Camby are just letting Cousins box them out,
Then reaching right over him for the Offensive rebounds
"First we get jobs, then we get the khakis, then we get the chicks."
They stripped that ball out of Cousin's so fast.
Asked if the Kings had any intention of trading Cousins, basketball president Geoff Petrie said, "No."
Why Donte??????

but why the fuck does Tyreke even practice half-courts like he says he does? Practice your 3 and mid-range dude, for fucks sakes.

Actually, yea.
"Michael Beasley WILL be better than Derrick Rose by 2012" - Brother
You know..
I can’t believe you actually think he should keep practicing them.
Youll need those half-court shots what, 3,4,5 times a year?
Well guess what, a 3-pt shot and midrange would be a lot more helpful because you NEED that 82 games a year(66 this year)
Instead hes practicing for something he needs possible 3 or 4 times a year?
Not Smart.
"Michael Beasley WILL be better than Derrick Rose by 2012" - Brother

It's really apparent that this team is playing 3 on 5 most of the time, at best 4 on 5.
We simply get killed at the 3 spot every game. Wallace is the difference in this game.
As I posted earlier.
I honestly think we would be in the running for a playoff spot if we sent a draft pick and some crap and absorbed Pierce’s contract from the diminishing Celtics. He would shore up the 3 spot.
I'm pretty sure Pierce doesn't want to end his career in Sacramento

This team needs to learn how to win on the road first
by Reke_Havoc13 on Jan 23, 2012 8:23 PM PST up reply actions
Since when do young teams learn to win on the road first?
Learn to win at home and then start learning how to carry that over on the road.
This team can win at home-well as of recent-they just allow themselves to get dejected once the opponent gets a 10 point lead on us
by Reke_Havoc13 on Jan 23, 2012 8:28 PM PST up reply actions
Yeah, seems to pile on during road games
To be fair, winning on the road for a young team is always tough. Our road schedule recently has included Philly, Dallas, Portland, Houston, San Antonio and Memphis.
Those teams are a combined 42-8 at home. That’s a brutal stretch for a young team that’s just changed coaches.
All I want to see in the second half is a competitive basketball game
