There is an article in the bee now
and she sayd that she wanted all council members to be present to discuss this. Rob Fong, I believe, was not going to be at the meeting tonight so that was her reason.
Is that true? Not sure.

Weird since Fong is one of the guys who is firmly in the ESC camp.
And will probably vote against a ballot initiative no matter what.

That's why I think it was just an excuse
to either bring it up at a later date with a better plan (for her) or simply just give up. Not sure which one it is though

I don't think so
if she bring it up now, it would get crushed in a vote. This gives her more time for maniacal deeds, in which she can find something to show the council.

I have to admit, when I heard she wasn’t running for re-election that kind of scared me a bit, because she doesn’t have anything to lose now. I immediately thought of the Batman quote: “Some people just want to see the world burn”.

Question: Does Sheedy's plan to postpone this have anything to do with postponing the financing plan past March 1?
I’m guessing this will be an issue of timing, planning the discussion closer to the deadline date…but could this actually have any effect on the city council’s decisions regarding the overall financing plans such as the parking lease contract?

this discussion will not be in next week’s meeting either unless it is added later. The agenda is already out for Tuesday and there is no mention of this.
