A Couple Free Agency and Trade Ideas
Pick up Gilbert Arenas - All-star Caliber talent, we need a point guard he is good and fits Tyreke perfectly. He was amnesty too so we won't lose anything in the process.
Sign and trade for Keyon Martin and/or Wilson Chandler maybe even J.R. Smith when they are back. 3 great players that Denver doesn't really need since they been playing so well. Plus we need a SF=Chandler, PF=Martin a consistent solid post player to play alongside Cousins, and a good not so trigger happy SG=Smith who also can bring some excitement
Sign and trade for SF=Nicholas Batum
Trade for Mo Williams, maybe a JJ and Marcus Thorton for Mo Williams and Reggie Evans
Trade for Danny Granger
Trade Milwaukee for Stephen Jackson
Trade for Will Bynum or Rodney Stuckey
Trade for DJ Augustine and Boris Diaw
All Good players who could fit our team and make a positive impact. Just a couple players I thought about.

Those guys are stuck in China.
Would love Wilson Chandler though!
Wow crazy to think now that Denver was able to get all that for mello.
Sacramento Kings, Oakland Raiders. Best teams everrrrrrr
China guys are free march 1st
Wilson chandler is a RFA and denver has money to pay him since he’s the only one they want back

Right now I'd take a flyer on Arenas if he's healthy
Before the season I wouldn’t have but desperation for another PG type player is settling in. He’s not prototypical but he has the ability to lead a team on the floor.

No need to sign and trade as they are all FA's and we are under the cap...
As for the trades. I too have thought the Clippers make a perfect trade partner. Reggie and Mo are two guys who would fit specific needs. I think this team needs a nasty, rebounding big and a G passes and shoots the three.
Gilbert, JR and my old neighbor K mart are head cases..
Id love to add some talent to our roster, but not at the cost of negative influence, especially when we have young guys who are emotional and dont need to pick up bad habits..

I think Gil is a good guy at heart
He’s done some stupid things but has to be humbled by the fact no one wants him. I don’t think he delusional like A.I. Or Marbury

HMMM
Love the Batum part, the Augustine and Granger the rest it stinks, sorry but i felt the team needs a lot to fill that big hole in the Kings roster. Chandler is fine but then again those players are stuck in China except for Martin though he need clearances to play and Denver still has rights for that. Lets give our players ample time to recuperate themselves on Coach Smart system then re evaluate all those players you mentioned and worth giving contract with. For me the Kings should remove Salmons, Outlaw, and Cisco.
beat what you can't beat.
love what others hate and stand up when you fall.
I'd love to get rid of those 3,
Maybe keep Cisco for some spotty D and 3s
We can't win at home. We can't win on the road. I just can't figure out where else to play!

I actually like the Agent 0 idea..
People here want a change and a veteran.. But oo no no if he is labeled a head case.. At some point we have to take a risk no? I understand if people say he’s older or doesn’t have same skill level but to look over someone for a few not smart choices is eh in my opinion.
And I agree with Targeting J smith and chandler.. But people may not like JRs attitude so maybe we shouldn’t ;)

I don't know if Arenas is really a head case or just a harmless guy having some fun
It seems to me he’s more concerned with the world around him (and having a good time) than being the best NBA player he can be. I could totally be wrong, but that’s the impression I get.
So sticking him with this group would be a really bad idea IMO.
Sacramento Kings - helping feed NBA fans across the country since 2011
Have to agree
Not worth the risk. It could really end up worse than where we are now.
Plus if we did try and it failed, we would all be saying how stupid the FO is for trying, and how the Maloofs were too cheap to pay a real PG.
Worse than we are now? That's not even really possible
Sign Arenas to a vets minimum & if he acts up then you cut him. It’s a no brainer to me. If anything he can be an example of what not to be in the NBA. A 30 year old former all-star, having to play for his career, because he’s a knucklehead. If he slips up he gets cut.

Somebody will give Arenas more than the veteran minimum contract.
If these possibilities existed in a vacuum (as in for us and us alone to consider) then it might be possible.
Of course, it does seem like our entire team exists in a vacuum right now because they suck…
Even though the voices aren't real, they have some pretty good ideas!

Honestly, most of those don't do much for me
Not interested
Arenas
Smith
Jackson
Augustin
Stuckey
Bynum
Evans
Intriguing
Diaw
Very interested
Granger
Williams
Chandler .
Mo Williams would be a nice pickup. He’s not happy playing limited minutes behind Paul and Billups. He’s not exactly an elite PG but he’s a far better PG than any we have. Only problem is, he can opt out next year, so giving up a lot too get him is too risky.
Either Granger or Chandler would be huge upgrades at SF. I’ve actually been thinking about a Granger trade since last year.
Chandler is probably more realistic though and may even be a better long term fit.
Diaw is very intriguing, mainly because of his 4 assist per game average.
