New Orleans is Shopping Chris Kamen
It seems that Chris Kamen is not going to be in New Orleans long term plan. I know that Kamen is due 14 million this season and his contract is expiring, but I think that a front court of Cousins and Kamen would be great. New Orleans is looking for younger player, picks and fiscal flexibility. What if we were to offer JJ and a future pick for Kamen. JJ has been playing horible, but he is still a young good player and Kamen could add some veteran leadership and could (hopefully) keep Cousins level headed.
Just wanted to see what everyone thought about this.

Our pick is kind of locked up depending on when the kings make the playoffs
but outside of that, this is the least assinine trade I’ve seen posted in quite a while.
"when young kids go to shootaround at the park, they shoot followay shots and buzzer beaters and pretend to be Kobe and Lebron…but what they don’t realize is that when they shoot more than 50 shots they are actually pretending to be John Salmons."
Just because your a veteran, doesn't mean you have leadership qualities
Just ask Jon Salmons. If we had Kaman and Cousins down low, you would probably have to surround them with a bunch of shooters, which sadly we don’t have.
I saw this too.
I just don’t see how he makes sense for the Kings right now. He’s not much more than an expiring contract right now and the Kings need anything but cap relief right now. He’s oft injured playing only more than 56 games once since ‘08. His PER had been in decline since pretty much the same year. We don’t have to match salaries since we’re under the cap so anything more than J.J. Hickson I would decline.

Already posted this in fan shots this morning

Not getting my hopes up
Even if the Kings got him they’d probably screw things up and he’d walk next year just like Dalembert did. i hate to say it but i have zero faith left at this point in this team’s ability to do anything right on any level. If they’re ever going to improve it seems like it’s going to have to by blind luck, in spite of themselves.
Maybe there's a way Sacto could be involved if it's a 3-team trade?
(I know…grasping at straws) This whole season has pretty much turned to shit so far. What ever happened to the Malinda’s promise to spend and be players in free agency? (Sarcasm)
Purveyor of Bull Plop
I dont like that trade.
Kaman is alot of skills down low but I dont think he fits well with Cousins. We need a defender 1st type player next to DMC such as Daly or the Chuck Wagon. I still see potential in JT so at this point I would rather use JJ to get the Small Forward spot taken care of.
Just FYI
JJ doesn’t work money wise. You’d need to add a player like Garcia or Salmons, who they probably wouldn’t take or a combination of Greene and Whiteside.

They have more than one?
Rocks are free, and slingshots easily stolen. And for a limited time, every third person who follows me on Twitter (andy_sims) gets a free ice cream cone.
Which I will eat.
