Everytime we have a lineup on the floor that is working, he changes it. Hayes is getting ABUSED, as is Salmons. Neither of them should be playing. Put Outlaw & Cousins back into the game. Play JT more as well

It is also kind of hard to make “easy” shots when the whole team collapses on your center because your starting PG SG SF and PF can’t make “easy” open shots. It works both ways. Utter failure from the whole team.

Look, I understand he is immature and his inefficiency is terrible right now
But we drafted him knowing this would be the problem. That is the only reason he fell to the 5th pick. And if we trade him, at his point of lowest value, we’re going to be screwed. The entire team is volatile right now, there are serious chemistry issues. But some of you need to be logical for a second and think of the big picture.
Trade Cousins now at his lowest value and destroy our franchise’s future? Sounds fun.
Westphal is obviously on the way out, we need to wait and see if a new coach can reach out to Cousins. If he can’t, then you gotta trade Cousins. But from everything written, Westphal has been an asshole to Cousins (and yes, Cousins is guilty of being immature too), but you need to understand why he must be disgruntled.

Im hella depressed about our team bros.
We are terrible. Reke looks like a chicken with his damn head cut off. Thornton was non existent and is a chucker. Cousins has regressed since last year, and quite frankly looks awful… as has Donte. Hickson and Thompson are decent but almost the exact same player. Hayes is a decent third big on a contender, nothing else. Salmons & Outlaw – see Hickson & JT. Jimmer plays atrocious D and isn’t athletic enough to play the 1, IT is Jeter 2.0. The sole bright spot = Whiteside. Fuck.

he sent Salmons in with 3 minutes left in the 2nd half. But why?
So he can close out the half cold as ice? Makes no sense to me. Either put him in with 7-8 minutes left minimum or not at all, unless there is a personal foul issue.

I give these guys the benefit of the doubt when it comes to "hustle",
as they are paid millions to do so. I really just think the team is less talented this year than we were last year. And we were pretty disparaged in the talent department last year.
I would love to think getting paid millions would motivate guys to hustle their hearts out

What killed us was that 3rd quarter
Stretch where Hickson was fouled on the dunk but we inbounded missed a shot.
Gasol flopped and got an and-1 over Hayes
Hayes got another and 1 foul on Conley
And I think there was one more and 1 for the grizzlies after that.
Westphal shouldve called a time out when they made the 1st and one. Might have kept this game close

Put in Jimmer and Isaiah rotating as point guards
That might help the distributing problems. Isaiah looks more like he wants to shoot than pass, though. Surprisingly, Jimmer doesn’t. IT can definitely ball, though.
I honestly think Jimmer could do 18-20 pts every night (and Isiah too) if he felt the leadership was needed or that he was allowed to take it.
He started off shooting badly, and recovered. That was common of him in college. He’s a high volume shooter, but when he’s free to shoot high volumes, his percentage goes up and he produces. Before this game, I don’t feel like he had the freedom to shoot, so his percentage was usually low and he didn’t score too much. Isiah seems to thrive when he’s given more freedom as well. Jimmer’s D, on the other hand, more of a “long-term” project.
Imagine if this team was Anaheim's first impression of the Kings
That would have been a complete disaster and hilarious at the same time. This is also the reason the Kings should thank their luck stars they’re in Sacramento. A season like this (at least the start) will not change the dedication that the fans have for the team.
Well this, and the fact that they'd probably be named "The Anaheim Kings of Sacramento in L.A."
Which would also ruin any credibility they may have had
