he's got some mental issues as well
fear of being embarrassed at the free throw line, fear of serious career threatening injuries, and even talked about retiring once his contract is up

there is a hilarious gif out there from the other night
where Monta clearly was throwing it to Biedrins and he did not look up at all and didn’t bother trying to catch it as David Lee had to reach way out of position to catch it. Funny as hell

i blame that possession on Salmons
if we had a knockdown guy at the 3 he wouldve netted that jumper in the corner
wtf reke read the god damn clock
AND OF COURSE SALMONS NO POINTS 2 MISSES BUT HIS MAN HES “GUARDING” IS DOING WELL. PUT IN DONTE HE DOES WELL AGAINST GS
I'd rather see Donte and Cisco get ~5 minutes each in the 1st
Just to find out if one of them is hot on that particular evening, before even considering playing Salmons for extended minutes.
He needs to shoot his way out of this slump, but only from off the bench.

Im really starting to change my mind about JT
I used to think his hands made him hopeless. But with his hustle, power, and his still improving basketball IQ—-I could actually see him MAYBE becoming an Al Jefferson type, second-team all-star during his peak years. If he and DMC were all-stars at the same time, and if the Kings fixed their 3 need and scored a reliable PG, if, if, if . . ..

Pretty happy for the most part,
but fuckin Salmons can’t defend, cant shoot and is a temp killer.
Time to cut bait…
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.
Cisco was inconsistent but productive
He deserves a bit more burn. I also think that Donte could thrive in the fast break vs. the Dubs.

Cisco,
good energy but seems to make one bone headed play for every spectacular one.
I guess 50/50 is better than 0/100.

Good energy out there all around
only attempted 6 threes so far, so Kings are not settling yet. Hope this keeps up in the 2nd half
"First we get jobs, then we get the khakis, then we get the chicks."
Very true. Moving the ball well and playing real offense
Just a bit off. If they keep it up, they’ll get better shots and more assists.
The question of the game will be...
Which team starts the third the shittiest?

Salmons
Let go with the abuse…but perhaps Salmons(like so many older players) is just trying to grind it into shape….
That may be overly hopeful…or maybe he will kick in. I am hopin’ for the best..a good turnaround!
We are all hoping for the best (I hope)
But your mileage may vary.

Question:
Would you continue the JT-DMC front court or go back to the Hayes-DMC combo?
You definitely continue with these guys
They are playing well together. Let them develop chemistry
Yes, I think you have to let Hayes earn the spot back.

I’d go with JT-DMC. Hayes shoulder is bothering him…in 7minutes his stat line is 0…not even 1 rebound. I think he needs more rest to his shoulder. But I wouldn’t mind playing him for a little bit in the 4th if we need defense.

and then we turn the ball over on people dribbling out of bounds (or into a Biedrins brick wall) about 5 possessions in a row

Just the tribulations of a young team; as a Wolves fan, I've been there.
"I'm shocked - shocked - to find basketball going on in here."
I think Jimmer airballing that 3 made him more passive again. UGH. He’s only shot 2 threes tonight…..not good.
by CousinsEvansDUO on Jan 31, 2012 9:01 PM PST reply actions
The ball movement has been great.
But nobody will shoot when they are open. This has happened like 3 or 4 times. Then they force it and turn it over.
turnovers...silver lining
many have come from Kings OVERPASSING, looking for teammates…that’s new ground for this group
Nice pass Jimmer to Salmons
"First we get jobs, then we get the khakis, then we get the chicks."
