Does anyone else think that "The Fan" sounds even LESS local than KHTK?

Why did they need to change it?

So I don't get it

IT hasn’t been playing that great, is shooting alright, Reke is going to end up playing close to 48 minutes and jimmer is sitting on the bench…. why?

This just seems like bad coaching considering our schedule…

by herehere on Jan 31, 2012 9:44 PM PST reply actions

uhhh

Reke isn’t exactly a lock down defender, and all I’m trying to get at is the fact that we should be resting one of our main players considering the fact that the schedule is so rigorous this year.

by herehere on Jan 31, 2012 9:46 PM PST up reply actions

this is true

Jimmer never had to play defense in college and it’s costing him in these situations. I don’t want to critique Jimmer, living only an hour and a half away from where he became an All-American, but he has to shore up his skills on both sides of the ball

I feel bad this one got away from you guys, but there are good signs I saw tonight, Tyreke and DeMarcus were excellent and Isiah shows some promise, good night, thanks for having me!

MOTHERFUCK THIS SHIT

I hate losing winnable games! How much longer do we have to put up with this shit?!

Rest of the year

But then again we will lose plenty of games that were unwinable too

It's just so frustrating when you can see glimpses of a win and we don't close out.

Us fans have hung around for so long, with the team bring utter shit. I can’t wait for the day we actually start winning these games. I’m not asking for playoffs, but jesus give us something positive to live on. Something more than slight improvements each game.

by ina_118 on Jan 31, 2012 9:58 PM PST via mobile up reply actions

slight improvements would be fine

if they didn’t just regress a few games later. They never make any real progress. It’s always one step forward one step back.

by deadenddude on Jan 31, 2012 10:21 PM PST up reply actions

OK

Why not call timeout or try and throw it down court?

This whole 2nd half really pissed me off

Surprised we even got THE CHANCE to take that based on how late 3rd early 4th went

This has got to be either

1. Paul Westphal’s fault
2. Jimmer’s fault
3. David Stern’s fault

I feel like if honeycutt played 30 minutes instead of salmons we would have won. Honeycutts 3s and defense would have won us the game….salmons easy missed shots cost us the game.

by CousinsEvansDUO on Jan 31, 2012 10:00 PM PST reply actions

No no no

If Jimmer sat more, then that would fix EVERYTHING zomg!

Salmons talk is redundant. It's all what if, but, and if only's.

Point is we cant control the players on the court obviously and when it comes to salmons he’s the main culprit of our anger. i love shit talking salmons but im done with doing myself….for now… we all know our SF is a hole and we play 4 on 5

Would have been perfect for this game. Seems like people overlook his value to this team.

True thornton’s drives and and1’s really help us out and put us back in the game. Also jeez tyreke 1-7 from 3point land I can’t believe it…

by CousinsEvansDUO on Jan 31, 2012 10:04 PM PST up reply actions

The biggest problem is Tyreke shooting seven (seven!) three-pointers

I don't know how we lost this game...

Even when DMC & Reke turn it on…

We need a SF. Oh, and I guess transition D & less TOs too.

This.

What’s so frustrating about this game is we had so so so so so many boneheaded turnovers it is unreal. The warriors STOLE this game from us…we had the win……some of our turnovers were just earth shattering, I can’t believe how dumb they were…we lost by 3 points..if we made 2 less turnovers we could have won.

by CousinsEvansDUO on Jan 31, 2012 10:05 PM PST up reply actions

Exactly…those type of turnovers should never EVER happen…..how are these guys NBA players getting paid millions of dollars…learn to use your eyes…look at the fucking shotclock.

Next 5 games:

Home against the Blazers and Warriors
On the road against the Hornets and T’wolves
Back home against the Thunder.

I predict victories against the Warriors, Hornets and T’wolves. The Thunder game is a toss up at this point

As in a tossup if we will lose by 20 or 30?

I think we will beat the blazers, warriors, and hornets. Anything can happen vs twolves and thunder.

by CousinsEvansDUO on Jan 31, 2012 10:07 PM PST reply actions

On paper, the numbers were almost all very good

especially rebounds 53-38. Killer was 18 to 8 in TOs.

by Skeptical Dawg on Jan 31, 2012 10:12 PM PST reply actions

Without a doubt

Kings have half the TO’s they win this game, maybe handily.

by rstewartwest on Jan 31, 2012 10:13 PM PST up reply actions

We would have won if we find out how Denver plays

and we score something like 92 points in the paint.

It can be done against a team like the Warriors. Also, we need to appeal to the NBA so we get to play ourselves 4 times a year.

This.

by elfboy_ on Jan 31, 2012 10:15 PM PST up reply actions

To make light of the situation, at least we aren’t bobcat fans….

by CousinsEvansDUO on Jan 31, 2012 10:15 PM PST reply actions

There are just some teams you absolutely feel sorry for

These teams are the bottom feeders of the NBA and have a few good seasons out of a mediocrity laden season
