The Kings play like a team that runs the floor but they're not very good at it. A team that's good at transition basketball is the Miami Heat. They take good shots and they turn mistakes into points. The Kings don't do either thing well.
So they play like a fast paced team but they're not very good at it. They're practice is probably like Rucker Park. Just running up and down the court shooting.
This brings us to Jimmer playing PG. Jimmer will slow down the pace and they will be a better team. I noticed the pick and rolls between Jimmer and Cousins and they were pretty good on the block. Everything about the Kings is fast paced and it doesn't work very well. You slow the pace down and you can begin to set up the offense.
This is on Westphal. He doesn't seem to have any structure or control over the team. I don't think I've seen them call out a play. It's just one on one basketball.
So start Jimmer at point guard, slow down the pace and call some plays. Also work on defense and tell Travis Outlaw to stop shooting so many 3 pointers.
