- Jeff Teague out-dueled Derrick Rose in Atlanta, where the Hawks beat the Chicago Bulls 109-94. Teague's line: 12 points on 6-8 field, 8 assists, (no turnovers), five steals. Rose's line: 8 points on 3-10 field, 6 assists (5turnovers), 1 steal. Josh Smith also had a nice line for the Hawks: 25 points, 5 boards, 5 assists (1 turnover), 4 steals, and 6 blocks. Vlad Radmanovich was 5-5 from 3 for Atlanta.
- The Pacers took down the Bobcats in Indiana with a 56-28 2nd half, 99-77 final. Roy Hibbert led the Pacers with 20 points, 8 boards and 3 blocks. Byron Mullens booked a 10/11 double double for the 'Cats despite 5-16 shooting, and Gerald Henderson added a 14/10 double double of his own despite 5-16 shooting.
- The Knicks visited the motor city and thumped the Pistons 103-80. Brandon Knight started for the injured Rodney Stuckey and post 19 points (7-19 field, 5-13(!) from 3), 6 boards, 4 assists (3 turnovers), and 3 steals. Mike Bibby chipped in 16 bench points for Knicks, going 4-4 from beyond the arc.
- New Jersey hosted Miami and lost to the Heat 101-90. Dwyane Wade and Brook Lopez both sat with injuries. LeBron James flirted with a quadruple double: 32 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, 8 turnovers. Kris Hunphries had 25 points (8-21 field) and 11 rebounds, and Shelden Williams added 13 boards in 28 bench minutes for the Nyets.
- Philadelphia crushed Toronto in Philly, 97-62. Andre Iguodala had a 14/10 double double despite 3-12 shooting. Amir Johnson and Andrea Bargnani combined for 33 points (14-30 field) and 25 rebounds. The rest of the Raps scored 29 points (13-55 field...24%!) and 23 rebounds.
- Game of the night in Houston, where the Oklahoma City prevailed late, 98-95. Kevin Durant tallied 27 (10-25 field) and Russell Westbrook added 25 (10-20 field). Luis Scola scored 28 (12-28 field) for the Rockets, and Kyle Lowry missed his second straight game.
- Check out this shot distribution and scoring distribution from San Antonio's starting five: Jefferson (19 points on 12 shots), Parker (19 on 16), Neal (10/11), Blair (10/10), and Duncan (10/8). Daniel Green added 24 off the bench on 9-13 field, and the Spurs beat the Nuggets in San Antonio 121-117. Danilo Gallinari led the Nuggets with 31 on 10-16 shooting, and Ty Lawson added 20 points and 10 assists. The two teams shot a combined 56% from the field.
- Dallas easily handled New Orleans in Dallas tonight, 96-81. This despite playing without Jason Kidd and starting a backcourt of Delonte West and Vince Carter. This also despite a 2-11 shooting performance by Dirk Nowitzki (11 points). Al Farouq-Aminu started for the Hornets in place of the ailing Trevor Ariza and scored 15 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and had 4 steals (and 4 turnovers). Eric Gordon also missed the game for the Hornets. The Hornets started Okafor and Kaman up front tonight, bringing Carl Landry off the bench.
- The Jazz came back in the 4th quarter to beat the Warriors in Oakland 88-87. Derrick Favors notched a 12/10 double double in 26 bench minutes, adding 2 blocks. Monta Ellis scored 32 on 8-22 shooting (0-5 from 3, 16-17 line), and had 6 turnovers to go with his 6 assists. David Lee had a 13/15 double double for the Dubs.
- The Clips beat the Bucks in LA 92-86. Drew Gooden was good for 18 points and 13 boards for Milwaukee. Blake Griffin had 22 points and 14 rebounds (and 5 turnovers) for Los Angeles.
