Great Movie!
It was awesome! They had all kinds of details and nods sprinkled in…including a little shot out to STR! Showing all kinds of great/funny memories like when Mr. Gregg Lukenbill climbed up into the rafters to fix the leak so they could continue the game.
It’s pretty much mandatory for any Kings fan and I will be purchasing my copy the moment its made available!

Founder of team Omté Caspeen
It will
During the Q&A they said it would take them a few more day to work out the details and they would be able to tell us when and where we can see it or buy it.
I thought it was sooo good though….literally, the only complaint I could come up with was just the fact that they didn’t include Doug Christie punching rick fox!

First Class!
Agree with Noble that it is a MUST SEE for any Kings fan. I have a whole new appreciation for this franchise after seeing what a huge impact the team has on this region and vice versa. Big respect to one James Hamm and the team that put it all together, edm7, Carmichael Dave, TZ, and all the folks that have worked their asses off for this team, this city and the rest of us Kings fans….

There was a douchebag moment from Peaches
Though I understand why it was in there. To show a different POV.
There was a part showing Carmichael Dave saying he knows the fan support played a part in the Kings staying.
Then they cut to a bee writer saying he didn’t know how much of a part it played. Whether it’s 5% or 95% but he knows it played some part.
Then they cut to Peaches who says he doesn’t feel the fans played any part whatsoever in them staying. He just felt the NBA wasn’t ready for 3 teams in SoCal.
Now Peaches could be right. No one really knows but it was still a douchebag thing to say. He didn’t have to go the route of CD but I thought the Bee writer’s opinion was pretty fair.

Honestly the fans didn't influence the Maloof's decision
Their decision was to bolt regardless. The fans probably had more influence on the local business community, who ponied up the money that gave KJ ammunition to bring to the NBA, who in turn decided to block the Maloofs.
To say fan support played no role in the entire situation is wrong, but it also depends on how you look at it.

A bit further
If the Maloofs were trying to move to KC, Seattle, or Vancouver I bet they would be gone.

I know it didn't influence the Maloofs decision
But I believe it helped when the relocation committee came. How much? Who knows maybe 1% but it could have been the 1% we needed to tip a 50-50 split over.

I think the fan support and the efforts of HereWeStay campaign was huge.
It was the tipping point for the NBA, imo. Without it, the Maloofs would have been gone. No question in my mind.
Asked if the Kings had any intention of trading Cousins, basketball president Geoff Petrie said, "No."

I'd heard that comment before
and it pretty much sums up everything you need to know about the guy. He’s a jackass and will always be a jackass. Bottom line is this – none of those businesses would have made the financial commitment to the Kings if they were not FANS. So yes, the fans had an impact because they put up $9M.

Good Stuff.
I’m not going to lie, I was nervous about this flick because I didn’t see how you could put together a quality movie in such a short amount of time. So glad that my fears were not realized, this movie was good from start to finish. Definitely a must see for any Kings fan. Of course the best part was seeing my kids in the credits :-)
I thouroughly enjoyed it and thought they did an excellent job.

I had to drag my wife there & she seemed to enjoy it
I liked that they showed Blake Ellington & his wife who seemed to be really supportive of the movement. My wife doesn’t seem to believe women can genuinely be into things like that.

Candace is amazing...
She has done so much work behind the scenes for both Here We Stay and Small Market, Big Heart. Her and Blake really put their lives on hold for the last year and a half to keep this team here.
I’m glad that struck a cord.
Our families have really had to take a huge backseat to these “projects”.
