Stephen Curry signed for $44M over 4 years with Golden State.
Ty Lawson signed $48M over 4 years with Denver.
James Harden looks like he's going to get the super-max $80M over 5 from Houston.
We are fairly certain that Tyreke is NaPG, we're not sure he's even a SG. But it seems like if you signed him to an extension today... you have a fairly good argument "fair market value" is probably around $40-44M over 4 years. I doubt there is a 24th hour offer forthcoming from Petrie & Co. but this seems like a reasonable hedge price against him blowing up this season and/or a desperate team with cap room throwing an inflated contract at him next summer the Kings can't or won't match. [See James Harden above].
If you could sign/lock Tyreke up today, what's your price? Or do you roll the dice [realize here that you're betting on him having another sub-par/bad/off/non-ROY season] and hope you don't get priced out?
