Jimmer has been playing great in his short minutes. He has the highest PER in the league so you have to give him more minutes. His 33.5 PER will not hold up with additional minutes but maybe there will be just a short drop off.

I think the starting Line up should be:

Thomas - PG

Jimmer - SG

Evans - SF

Thompson - PF

Cousins - C

This will be a more explosive starting line up when it comes to scoring. Some people may complain about defense but Fredette seems to have upped his overall game and defense means nothing when you can't score. You can hold the other team to 85 points but it makes no difference when you score 80.

I think it was silly to write Fredette off after 1 season. The guy had a shortened season without a training camp and maybe he needed summer leauge, training camp and a full pre-season to get a better feel as to how he can adjust his game to the NBA.

I also think he might work better at Shooting Guard. This way he can run the point from time to time but his primary goal is to get buckets. Here's a video of Jimmer's 18 last night.
