Russ Isabella-US PRESSWIRE

In the middle of a brilliant quarter, DeMarcus Cousins was ejected by Gary Zielinksi after two quick technical fouls.

DeMarcus Cousins earned his first ejection of the season on Saturday against the Jazz. In the middle of a strong Kings run to take an 8-point lead, one which included a massive dunk by Boogie on Derrick Favors, Cousins got called for a personal foul on defense as he and Enes Kanter bodied up. Cousins slapped the ball away from Kanter to get the tech from Gary Zielinski. Cousins was adamant that he was playing through the whistle -- it was close enough to be legit on defense -- and plead his case to Zielinski as Marvin Williams took the free throw.

Zielinski motioned for Cousins to walk away. Cousins did ... but apparently tried to get in the last work. Zielinski responded with another tech, sending Cousins out.

Cousins had 14 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists when ejected.
