The Kings have a light three-game schedule this week, with two more at home.
The Sacramento Kings finish off their home-heavy November this week and begin a December that will see plenty more road tests. The Kings are currently 4-4 at home (with three of those wins coming against teams at .500 or better) and 0-5 on the road. So unless the Kings continue to win at home, vastly improve on the road or, preferably, both, December's going to be looooooong.
But before then, two more at home. Here's the weekly slate. All times are Pacific.
Tuesday: vs. Timberwolves, 7 p.m., Comcast SportsNet California
Kevin Love is back for the Wolves, but Minnesota is 0-3 since he returned. The Wolves are 2-4 on the road and will be playing their third straight roadie. But, like Sacramento, they will have been off since Saturday.
Friday: vs. Pacers, 7 p.m., Comcast SportsNet California
The Pacers, who beat the Kings in Indiana during Week 1, visit on Friday. The Pacers begin a long road trip on Tuesday in L.A., but have Wednesday and Thursday off. The Pacers are currently 6-8 overall and 2-6 on the road.
Saturday: at Clippers, 7:30 p.m., NBA TV and Comcast SportsNets California
The Kings get back on the road on Saturday ... with no rest to boot. It'll be good practice for the rest of December. The Clippers have lost three straight to fall to 8-5, but are 5-2 at home.
I'm guessing 2-1: wins at home, a loss on the road.
