Kings vs. Timberwolves: Smell that home cookin'

Stay connected for news and updates

Brace Hemmelgarn-US PRESSWIRE

Sacramento enters its last dose of home cookin' for a while, taking on the Timberwolves at Sleep Train on Tuesday.

The Sacramento Kings stay home for four out of the next five games. The next foe, the Minnesota Timberwolves, enters Tuesday night carrying a five-game losing streak. The Wolves are 5-7 overall -- yep, they were 5-2 just a week and change ago -- and 2-4 on the road.

The game tips at 7 p.m. Pacific on Comcast SportsNet California and 1140 AM.

The Kings should have a full roster, and the Wolves are without Chase Budinger, Brandon Roy and Ricky Rubio. Kevin Love is back, and while he's averaging 24 and 14, the Wolves are 0-3 since his return. The Kings and Wolves split their four games last season, and Minnesota finished ahead of Sacramento in the standings.

One assumes that good seats are still available at Sleep Train Arena for this battle.

We'll have a game thread at 7, and Akis' predictions thread will be up at 10 a.m. per usual.
