The Kings have had an awful start to the season, but can salvage the opening road trip with a win in Indiana.
The Sacramento Kings are 0-2, having lost Friday night in Minnesota in a ragged, nasty little game. On Saturday the Kings will have a chance to head home in high spirits if they can beat the very good Indiana Pacers. The game's scheduled for 4 p.m. Pacific on Comcast SportsNet California and 1140 AM.
Indiana landed the No. 3 seed in the East last year, but is just 1-1 after losing to the ... Charlotte Bobcats on Friday. And they'd only beaten the Raptors by a bucket on Wednesday. Not a great start. But Danny Granger is out, so that explains some of the struggles. Roy Hibbert was abysmal against Charlotte; you don't expect that to last.
Indiana has home court advantage, but both teams traveled overnight. This will be Indiana's home opener. After Saturday's game, the Kings will return to Sacramento to prepare for the Warriors on Monday.
Check out what's going on with the Pacers at Indy Cornrows.
