Kings vs. Pacers: When it rains ...

Stay connected for news and updates

Joe Robbins

The Kings stay at home for a rematch against the Pacers, then fly down to L.A. for Saturday's game against the Clippers.

The Sacramento Kings are back in action on Friday night against the Indiana Pacers. The game is set for 7 p.m. Pacific at Sleep Train Arena, broadcast by Comcast SportsNet California and 1140 AM. I imagine good tickets remain available. The rain might end up keeping away what fans might have attended otherwise.

The Pacers enter in a bit better shape than when the Kings visited earlier this season. Indiana is 7-8, and still without Danny Granger. (It'll be two more months until he returns.) The Pacers beat the Lakers on Tuesday in Los Angeles, but are just 3-6 on the road. The Kings are 4-10 overall and 4-5 at home. They lost Tuesday to the Timberwolves, killing some home momentum.

The Kings get back on the road for a day on Saturday, then have two more winnable games at home before getting a real road trip. As such, these winnable home games are vital to keeping the Kings out of last place in the West.
