After an 0-3 road trip to open the season, the Kings return home to face the Warriors on Monday. Here's a Week 2 schedule rundown.
One week down, and the Sacramento Kings are 0-3. Welp. But the good news is that the Kings get their home opener on Monday. In the 2011-12 season, the Kings were 6-27 on the road and 16-17 at home. So we expect better results. This week, Sacramento has three games at home and one on the road.
Here's the rundown. All times Pacific.
Monday: vs. Warriors, 7 p.m., Comcast SportsNet California
The Kings' home opener has the Blackout theme. You'll remember that the Kings won a Blackout game on TNT vs. the Thunder last year. The Warriors are 2-1 thus far, with a big win over the Clippers on Saturday. Whether Andrew Bogut will play is, as always, a mystery.
Wednesday: vs. Pistons, 7 p.m., Comcast SportsNet California
Hey, something that resembles a W!
Friday: vs. Spurs, 7 p.m., Comcast SportsNet California
Hey, something that resemble an L! (The Kings always play the Spurs well in Sacramento, actually; DeMarcus Cousins vs. Tim Duncan is always a blast.)
Sunday: at Lakers, 6:30 p.m., Comcast SportsNet California
The Lakers have certainly circled this one as their first chance to get a win. Unfortunately, they have proven they just cannot beat the Kings this season.
Poll time!
