This is a little project I've been working on recently. Normally, I'd throw up a Fanshot to show the most recent radio ratings for KHTK 1140 and ESPN 1320, but I wanted to add a picture of a spreadsheet I put together with a year-over-year comparison of the Arbitron PPM ratings. Unfortunately, after much digging I'm still having trouble finding two month's data for both stations (February and March of 2012). If anyone knows how to access these, send them over and I'll update. Anyways, here's the data I've been able to unearth:

I've highlighted the year to year changes. As you can see, overall numbers show KHTK continuing on its stagnant path. My assumption is that the bump last month for 1320 is due to baseball, and more specifically the Two Time World Series Champion San Francisco Giants (aahhh, sweet championships!).

Additionally, this tells us nothing about specific segments, so it's hard to tell how Peaches and Don G are actually performing. Hard to imagine them really tearing it up though, considering they are working drive time and would be the primary driver of ears for their station. Pretty anemic overall. Let's all hope this forces ESPN or another station to put a legitimate sports talk station in the market to get the Scarlet Fool off the air.
