A huge second quarter run by the Dallas Mavericks crushed any hope of the Kings winning their fourth game in a row.

Sacramento's three-game winning streak was snapped tonight in Dallas, a venue the Kings have not won in since 2003. Dallas had a huge 32-4 run in the first half, encapsulating the end of the first quarter and most of the second, to blow the game open. Sacramento was able to get as close as 11 points, but the hole was too big.

DeMarcus Cousins and Francisco Garcia led the Kings with 25 points each. Garcia also set a career-high for three pointers made with 7. He also added three blocks. Cousins only had 6 rebounds to go with his 25 points (on 10-17) shooting, but there weren't many defensive rebounds to be had as the Mavericks shot 55.2% from the field.

Dallas had six players in double digits, led by guard O.J. Mayo's 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Most of Mayo's damage came in the first half, where he scored 16 points. Another player who did his damage early for Dallas was Chris Kaman. Kaman finished with 18 points on 9-13 shooting in just 21 minutes.

Rookie Jae Crowder came in the second half and played a big part in killing the Kings' comeback. Crowder scored 11 points to go with 4 rebounds, 4 assists and a couple of steals.

The Kings were without Tyreke Evans yet again, as he was still resting his sore left knee. Evans hopes to be back Wednesday, when the Kings visit the Milwaukee Bucks.

Full Recap will be up later.
