The Kings hope to continue their winning ways at home against the Celtics.
The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. Pacific on Comcast SportsNet California and 1140 AM. Tickets are available. Expect lots of Boston fans.
The C's are hurting. They've lost six of their last eight games, including two straight drubbings in California (at Clippers, at Warriors on Saturday). Rajon Rondo didn't play in Oakland due to bruises on his leg; it's unclear whether he'll be available Sunday. If not, the Celtics have only two healthy guards: Courtney Lee and Jason Terry. Terry is a King Killer, but that's just not a good backcourt.
Speaking of good backcourts, Tyreke Evans is expected to return to action, hopefully for good. We'll see if that means that Isaiah Thomas will continue to start at point guard; I.T. took over for Aaron Brooks on Friday in order to keep DeMarcus Cousins in line. (Let that sink in.) Evans could always come off of the bench, but his defense should make him a starter regardless of whether he needs to shake off the offensive rust.
Note that Kevin Garnett played only 20 minutes on Saturday, so he should get his full compliment of 30, if needed.
Fan predictions soon, game thread at 6 and recap to follow the game.
