Thursday was big
but Tuesday is the one that will matter the most. Be there!!
Just in case you need the address: 915 I st. in downtown Sac. Meeting starts at 6pm but you would wanna get there much earlier than that… I expect a packed council chamber.

The Blackout Portion was breathtaking -
If the Kings by some miraculous intervention make the playoffs, I think we should have a blackout for each home game. Anyone have any win-loss stats for when Kings wear black versus when they wear purple?
Asked if the Kings had any intention of trading Cousins, basketball president Geoff Petrie said, "No."
I don't think I will be able to make it tomorrow,
but to those of you who go to represent us, good luck. Make us proud. I’m sure you will.
It would be really awesome if the council members could view the Official TNT Video of Thursday Night, as I am assuming most of them did not attend the game.
They might be interested to see the mood and tone of the crowd in attendance.
Great job on that Kfipp!

Nevermind
looks like it’s the vote for whether to move forward with the parking lease. I guess this is the BIG ONE.
I was thinking about last weeks vote and tomorrow's vote
I don’t want to get too excited until the vote is finalized, but am I too optimistic to think that the 5 members that voted “no” have the intent to vote “yes” on Tuesdays vote?
They must understand the situation that in order to keep the arena hope alive, they must vote no to a public vote and vote yes to the parking, right? I feel that last vote was the easy out for any politician that didn’t want the arena (let the public decide without directly killing the arena)? The ones that voted “no” last week will hopefully vote “yes” tomorrow since I hope they understand what is at stake with this vote and due to their prior voting history. That said, 1 more vote against us would be devastating.
Right now I feel like it’s the Game 7 of the 2002 WCF all over again (excited, stressed, and worried). We did the work and fought our way into this position, we just need to make these free throws under pressure and we can win this time.
I can't see why you'd vote no to putting it on the ballot and then vote no on actually leasing it
It would make no sense. But then again, stranger things have happened, which is why i’m still nervous.
Well if you thought you had enough votes to crush it now, why put it in the voters hands.
