2k12 association mode
I got a question. On my roster my whole team has a yellow arrow next to their rating and a negative number. How do I get rid of these? Its annoying that I can't use my players to full strength! I have tyreke at 88 but he always has -7 on him for some reason and I have no idea what to do. The only player that doesn't have an arrow is deandre Jordan and he's useless on offense

Is he happy?
Because if a player is in a bad mood, their overall goes down… And P.S. Deandre Jordan is a stud on offense :)
we’re cheap, like to drink and are pissed off.

Check their 'Player Role' and the gameplan tab to see if their current role on the team corresponds with the amount of minutes they're getting.
You have to manage your players’ court time in order to balance fatigue and general mood of each player. For example, starters usually garner 30-33 minutes a game, the sixth man would usually take 19-29, and role players can go from anywhere between 8 minutes to 25 minutes. If you give a player who is classified as a starter role player minutes, his morale will go down and he will not resign with you.

The thing about camping is... Its intense.
PS. If you sign a star, starter minutes work I believe but 35 is encouraged just for performance on your team.

Tyreke is upbeat and put as star and has -2 and cp3 is delighted and has a -1

Sometimes that is fatigue I think.
Sometimes there is that effect. It might also be chemistry, I haven’t really investigated the whole effect of team chemistry on stats, but it does translate into the w/l category.

Im glad I dont play these games anymore if they have really started to include players' bitchiness....
At USC we're not snobs, we're just better than you.
It gets annoying, but it doesn't affect the gameplay much if at all

It nearly does fix everything...
I traded away the fish, Whiteside, Fredette, and two first-rounders for Iggy, and I haven’t lost a game since in Association mode.
On the flipside, I created a PG in the My Player mode, demanded a trade to the Kings, and lost 56 out of the final 60 games. Just like real-life, the team gets battered at the 3 every night.
My point? Replacing Salmons is the best move one can make if you’re playing the Kings.

Iggy is very easy to get in 2k12

That and the save button.

I also wish we could reset the game if we're losing
And just start over.

I miss the simulation that did it by quarters for each game so you could jump in at the fourth quarter to obliterate the other team.

Yeah me too
Or you could’ve used that to jump in if your team is getting blown out.
I play most of the games fairly, win or lose, but sometimes I get mad and spam the game sliders.

Its especially frustrating on My Player mode
You get assigned several “milestones” each game, and earn attribute points after accomplishing them, regardless of whether or not you win or lose the game. It’s frustrating as hell when you’re down 30 yet have all goals completed and have to stick out the rest of the game.

My player is frustrating cause I’m missing wide open shots with a 99 3 and 99 mid and I’m going 4/14

You could try upgrading the abilities section.
Expensive points, but worth it. I’m scoring 26 per game now.
Looking forward to a Lakers collapse.

I traded salmons for Granger and a 2013 first rounder

I mean salmons and a 2013 first rounder for Granger.

That killed my first "my player mode"
I demanded a trade to the Kings and Tyreke would never give the ball back when I passed it to him. We lost a lot and I ended up starting over. Now, I’m the starting pg for the Blazers and all is well at the top of the NBA (even though I haven’t played since the real season started)
