Sam Amick of Sports Illustrated reports that Wilson Chandler is considering sitting out the season and testing the free agent market in the offseason. Marc Stein of ESPN reported late last night that only the Pacers, Kings and Cavs have enough cap space to sign Chandler to an offer sheet. Chandler has to get an offer sheet before March 1 in order to play with any team other than the Nuggets. Chandler's threat to sit out the remainder of the season is likely a leverage play to force Denver's hand in securing a long-term deal to his liking. The story should develop over the All-Star break and we should have an answer sooner rather than later. Stay tuned.
