Why does Jimmer always get the obligatory open 3 highlight?

I would like it if he was shooting the ball from deep but its just a regular wide open spot up 3. Maybe its the moment in which he hit the three? I don’t know its just confusing, and its not highlight real material in my opinion.

Well if I remember right

Last time it wasn’t just one 3, it was a series of them when he went off on Memphis. This time, not sure. Maybe because it was his homecoming back in Utah and the crowd went wild? Not like it was one of the top plays though, ten of ten.

#10: Jimmer’s first three back in Utah; corny but understandable
#9: True, Ellis was careless, but Cousins finished the play himself!
#8: That was just beautiful
#7: Second top ten video with a fast break where the ball never touches the ground
#6: The DMC Shake, just awesome
#5: Threaded the needle, nice cut by Cuz as well
#4: Didn’t look like JJ was ready for it at first, but he finished well, nice pass by Thornton
