PrintWe had 10 entries to the Sactown Royalty Blackout Contest. Instead of cutting that down, we'll let the community pick a winner from the 10 FanPosts. The links are just below this paragraph; the poll is after the jump. The poll ends at 9 p.m. Pacific today. The winner receives a pair of lower bowl tickets for TNT Night at Power Balance Pavilion on Thursday.

I routinely get errors
about the page not loading because the server didn’t send a response. hammering refresh will usually get past it after a few tries.

Suffered some DDOS attacks last week
That’s caused some residual issues, but our tech team is top-notch and things should be getting back to normal soon.

DDoS been messing with my worklife. I was pretty surprised at the intelligence of this last attack, just a variety of packet types and address lists and TCP connections. The majority based in China, but it seemed like they had a strong botnet throughout the states coordinating on attack vectors. Pretty crazy, they’d open up on one IP and start going after the whole subnet.

I’m hearing from people that I know that are voting for me and they said that they have voted already and my numbers aren’t changing. This is weird.

As much as I want to go to this game and win this contest.......
It seems like I’m not going to win. Had a good time typing up the FanPost but it seems the earlier problems might have done me in. I don’t know if I would have had the almost 100 votes that herewestayandrise has to stay in but no matter what I don’t want to come up with any excuses. If I had problems in the beginning then all of the contestants had problems in the beginning so it’s not much of an excuse either way. Congrats to who ever wins and have fun at the game. Who ever wins truly deserves it.

I’ve honestly been sitting here for the past fifteen minutes re-reading the posts and trying to make a decision.
Well it looks like I'm taking home the bronze.
I’m pretty happy with the outcome, I guess. I really wanted to go to this game and do my little part to help the Kings stay, but I know that whether its Ash_Ketchup or herewestayandrise we’ll have a great fan at Power Balance Pavilion on Thursday.
I received generally positive feedback with my fanshot, and now I think I’ll be more regular here, although I may make a new account to start “fresh”. I have another fanshot in mind that isn’t necessarily Kings related, but it involves me meeting and practicing with an NBA squad that was preparing to face the Kings. (Hint it wasn’t the Lakers)
