Wilson Chandler plans to resign with Denver.

I know a lot of us have eyes for Chandler once he returns from China, but he has every intention to return to Denver. He is restricted, but I wouldn't mind the Kings making a generous offer.

The we can try to get him in the offseason while using the amnesty on Salmons.

I like Chandler...

But I would rather take that money and try to steal Batum away from Portland. Better fit on our team IMO.

Batum not happening

You would have to drastically overpay for Batum and hope Portland doesn’t match. The Kings should not be using cap money to overpay role players

I disagree

I have no problem with this team overpaying for role players as long as the role players fill a need & are a perfect fit.

No stars are coming here & the lottery hates us so this team is banking on Reke & Cuz becoming stars. After you have the stars you need to add role players that fit with those stars.

Did OKC overpay for Perkins? Yes they did & it payed off. He is the ultimate role player & fits with them perfect.

Tyson Chandler was seen as a “role player” before he led Dallas to a championship. Then NY overpaid for him.

I’d give Batum $8-10 million a year & be very happy.

I would be willing to offer him...

A similar contract to what Danilo got. Roughly 4 years 42 million. Then I would take the best player available in the draft. We will probably be looking at a player like J. Lamb, Sullinger or Beal. That would be a very good offseason for this team!
