Evans 48 Min Production by Postion - Is he really that bad of a defender?

3

I am not 100% that I fully understand what goes into these calculations but what I take from it is that the people who Tyreke guards at SF, when averaged out and applied to 48 minutes of play, score 36.4 points, 10.2 assists, 4.6 boards, have an eFG% of 78% and a PER of 38.7. Can this be an accurate portrayal of Rekes defense at the SF? It is also notable that he is negative across the board at PG, SG and SF, when looking at his Net 48-Minute Production by Position. I actually really like Reke and never thought that he was that bad of a defender. I do notice he looks lackadaisical from time to time but I did not expect that he was that far in the red. I guess he does not always guard the SF position so the blame could be shifted to someone else? Anyone got an explanation to get him off the hook or can he just not guard SFs?
