The Sacramento Kings lost by a combined 38 points to teams with combined records of 33-48 earlier this week. Good news! The next opponent, the Boston Celtics, come in with a 23-19 record, and are 8-2 since All-Star Weekend.

Welp.

Of course, the Kings have looked far better against good teams than against bad ones. With wins over the Lakers, Thunder, Spurs and Mavericks, Sacramento can certainly compete with the Celtics if things break right. That means that a Celtic star or two has an off night, a Kings starter or two has an inordinately hot night, and the break goes Sacramento's way.

The arena will be packed, largely with Celtics fans (as is tradition). I implore you to ignore any potential Irish heritage you have and avoid wearing the color green at the game despite the proximity to St. Patrick's Day; they don't need encouragement. Here's to hoping for a competitive 48 minutes. Blowouts are really terrible entertainment, no matter what you think about tanking at this point.

The game's at 7, with game threads at 7 and 8:30. Let's go Kings!
