As I contemplate the reality of being a Kings fan and my penchant for seeing the glass as half full, I have come to realize that this years draft might possibly be our best chance of becoming relevant once again.

As has been discussed on multiple occasions, ownership's inability to spend money, along with an opaque future residence, has removed the Kings from most Free Agent lists of preferred locations. Yea, I know were centrally located and are reasonably close to SF, Tahoe, the Wine Country, have great weather, yada, yada yada. It doesn't matter.

Trades are great but we have to give up something to get something and right now we have a lot of potential but not a lot of proven talent.

Anthony David just so happens to be exactly what the Kings need. A potential superstar that fits the teams need to a "T".

So for one night I implore all Kings Fans to disregard the past and to summon all your good luck charms in an effort to create our own destiny.
