Season Ticket Holders - Stay or go?

Greetings STR - long time lurker, first time contributor.

I am curious as to other STH's plans for their Sacramento Kings 2012/2013 tickets? Do you feel duped for renewing or buying-in immediately after the joyous golden handshake in Orlando or the celebration at City hall? What about the all smiles by Mayor and Maloof at PBP? Are you/have you considered requesting a refund?

My wife and I have made the gut-wrenching decision to sever ties with the Kings organization because in our hearts we believe the Maloofs intend to file for relocation in the next two years. Our rationale for walking away boils down to basic biology (and economics): to kill the beast that is ownership, we have to starve the beast that is ownership. Don't throw anymore cash their way. The NBA B.O.G., The Commish, and all the people who know anything about Sacramento's NBA off-court arena struggles know the truth. Sacramento IS a proven NBA city, but sadly we're faced with pathetic broke owners.

In canceling our tickets, I told my rep that I will come back IF ownership sells, ownership enters into a binding agreement to build a new arena or IF ownership takes all necessary steps to refurbish old Arco. On court, personnel decisions are secondary.....
