Personally, if MKG, Robinson, and Beal are off the board by the time the Kings pick...I'm all for drafting Lillard. I think this guy can be a real force in this league and can make an instant impact.

It's definitely difficult to justify it from a fit and need perspective but if he proves to be a legit starting PG, then would any of us really complain? I think he's a better prospect than Harrison Barnes and Drummond.

Also to consider is that if Beal somehow slips, would any of us argue over drafting him with the idea of sorting out our guards later? That's my rationale for drafting Lillard if it comes down to him, Barnes, or Drummond. I like Lillard's chances of being very good.
