It's a five year deal. Also remember that the Warriors have plans to move to a new San Francisco arena for the 2017-18 season. You do the math. Keep in mind this is for the stadium and not the arena. I just found it interesting that the deal is for 5 years and that's when the Warriors would like to open up an arena across the bay. To me this is more about trying to get the Raiders to LA in Farmer's Field. "The contract approved Monday by a 7-1 vote includes provisions that would severely limit AEG from wooing any team to a city within 50 miles of Oakland. But there is nothing to keep the company from luring the Warriors, Raiders or A's to a city outside that boundary. Antitrust laws prevent an outright ban."
