I'm doing a bit of value research regarding Evans, and I could use your help. I, personally, had high expectations for him when he was drafted, but it seems like he's peaked already or a least seems a bit lost as a tweener. As a Blazer fan trying to pick up the pieces after armagedon (Roy & Oden), I wonder if it would be better for both our teams to trade Tyreke for our #11 pick. According to Draft Express, there are several tempting targets available at that position that would benefit a young team, although none seem to fill the Blazers' needs. It would also be another potential trade asset if you're looking for veteran talent.

It's my belief that Evans would benefit from a change in scenery. I also believe that Portland might hire Brian Shaw to be the next coach and he'd instill the Triangle Offense. Would making Evans a SG and primary ball-handler maximize his talents?

I'd appreciate your opinions on Evan's ability and trade value.
