The Wizards really want a 2 guard and are looking at drafting Bradley Beal. And, if Beal is off the table when the Cavs pick, most likely they will take MKG or trade down for Waiters (according to some rumors) leading another team to snag MKG. (This is all in speculation that the Bobcats take T-Rob, and don't do something stupid like take Drummond or something)
Is there any possibility that the Kings could trade Marcus Thornton for the third pick? I know that deal wouldn't happen straight up, but packaging MT with other players/picks and throwing in contracts on the other end it might work for both ends.
The only people I wouldn't trade along with MT would be Cousins and Tyreke. I would also not offer the 5 pick in my initial offer in the very slim chance we could get the third pick without giving it up.
If we were somehow able to get the have the 3 and 5 with a core of IT, Tyreke, Cousins annd JT (if we resign him) I would draft MKG with 3, and then I would not mind a gamble on Drummond with 5.
Now I'm going to put the pipe down and try to sober up and come up with a possible draft day trade.
