Hornets Get: #5 Pick, Hassan Whiteside, Francisco Garcia

Kings Get: Hornets 2013 1st, Trevor Ariza

Makes sense for the Hornets because: Hornets would likely draft Andre Drummond with the 5th pick, rounding out a scary front line of Drummond and Davis. They also get Garcia, a guy who will stretch the floor, but is on a bad contract.

Makes sense for the Kings because: They get a veteran defensive presence in Trevor Ariza, who fits well on a Kings team with a ton of scorers, allowing him to be a 4th or 5th option, a spot where he is more suited. They also get possibly two first round picks in next year's draft, depending on if they keep their next pick or send it to Cleveland.
