I want to start off by saying that all the people that think we are set on our front court are not thinking clearly. We could have really used Ryan Anderson, first off because we dont even know what Thomas Robinson is going to bring to the team, and second off he would have streched the defense out of the lane. Tyreke would have benefited most but others like Cousins, Thornton, and Isiah Thomas aswell. 4 years at 36 million for the hometown kid. It would have been a decent risk reward and he was willing it seems.

Speaking of perfect fit, Nicholas Batum would have been another piece to atleast kick the tires on. The numbers seem ridicuouls at this point, but we showed no interest at all. This is essentially the same team as last year. We expect our rookies to come in and take over immediately because we have no pieces added other than through the draft.

Still, there are some good pieces to add to this team through free agency. We could bring in a small forward to compete for the starting spot. Give a guy like Gerald Green a shot, or if Grant Hill is out there for a bit maybe give him an offer. Its worth a shot atleast. Im all for bringing in JT for another stint with the Kings, his growth last year was basically cleaning up his game. I feel like he will continue doing that and be one of the best bigs off the bench in the league. But this team is not complete, we need another guard to work the second team offense. I hope it will be Jimmer but to go in with just that is unreliable.

Kings fans should not be surprised about this however. We have been at the cap floor for a few seasons now, and it seems the Maloofs with their "vast personal wealth" would rather sit at the bottom of the league and take advantage of this great fan base. Ryan Anderson was just the latest example of this. A middle level player from this city that either didn't get the offer, or saw the sad state of ownership and bolted for greener pastures. We still come to support this team regardless of the Maloofery. I was excited for Ryan Anderson, even if GP thought he could be a SF (LOL), on offense it would have been a thing of beauty. But this is what we get, aslong as these Maloofs are around we dont have a chance.

We gotta hope Tyreke and the guys keep growing up on their own. We know the Maloofs aren't going to help.
