Remember: we don't expect the Kings to be terribly active in 2013 NBA free agency, just as they weren't terribly active in 2009, 2010, 2011 or 2012. But you never know. George Maloof could fall in love with Sacramento and decide to spend everything he's got in his pockets on the team, and we could end up with Mickael Pietrus' second cousins, twice removed, at small forward. I've got high hopes.
Nonetheless, the Kings do have a free agent of note of their own: Tyreke Evans. I placed him No. 8 in my grand ranking of top 2013 free agents, just ahead of Ty Lawson and behind Stephen Curry. The other players that the Maloofian Kings are likely to look at are way down in the 40s, and maybe beyond. (In fairness, I did rank Jason Thompson No. 18 and Aaron Brooks No. 24 last year, but that was a bloody awful class.)
Check out the list and discuss some of the pipe dream players (Josh Smith! Andre Iguodala!) and realistic targets (Timofey Mozgov! Wait even that's not realistic ...) in this thread.
