Not sure what effect this would have on any new Sacramento arena with or without the Maloofs. But AEG, who were a part of the previous deal, are now on the market along with all of their assets including the LA Kings, LA Galaxy, a portion of the L*kers, the Staples Center along with a half dozen other arenas around the country. Most pundits don't think all these assets will go to one buyer which means AEG could effectively be at an end long term. Along with any help for proposed projects like Sac, Coliseum City in Oakland, and the LA NFL stadium.
