The Pizza Guy came up huge, capping a big night by hitting a game-winning runner with one second remaining.
Isaiah Thomas had a big night, finishing with a team-high 22 points to go with seven assists and four rebounds, but the real story is how the game ended. Tied up with 7 seconds left, the Kings came out of time out and inbounded to Isaiah. The Pizza Guy didn't rush, worked his way to the top of the key, and drove left to hit a game-winning runner. The Wizards had one second left, but were out of timeouts. Marcus Thornton stole the final inbound to finish it.
Tyreke Evans finished with 13 points, six assists and five rebounds. DeMarcus Cousins finished with 12 points and four rebounds, his second quiet night in a row. Francisco Garcia was big off the bench, finishing with 17 points, three rebounds, three steals and an assist.
It was a rare road win for the Kings, and doubly nice as it ended a four-game losing streak.
For the opponent's perspective, check out the always great Bullet Forever.
For now, though, let's dance!
