This would create an amazing amount of space for DeMarcus down low.
Who would dare double team him when the kickout to the ever moving B-Mac and Jimmer is available?
I can see some monster games from DMC with these two in the back-court.
The question is, did Jimmer's or B-Mac's ball handling get good enough to accomplish this? both of them (Jimmer Rookie season and last year; B-Mac in summer league) showed the tendancy to cough up the ball under pressure. B-Mac has been doing less and moving without the ball to get his points and seems to understand his weekness, but I wouldn't trust him to bring the ball up the floor and make entry passes etc. (yet, he's young and will get better) Jimmer has shown improvement in pre-season but with the pre-season non-broadcasts I have only been able to see him play once (please people chime in). People have commented that his handles are much better, what is your experience from watching this year? From what I saw in his one game his turnovers came from that traveling violation that officials are harping on early season, and he seemed solid under pressure. So if this is true and B-Mac and Jimmer can make it happen I'd love to see the destruction these two sharpshooters would lay on the League.
B-Mac is so good defensively that he might help the Jimmer out. Also Jimmer is good at making plays, so combine that with an ever moving, always awesome, Ben, and I think the two of them might just be GOLD (or PURPLE if you will).
Also the excitement factor is through the roof!! both players can encite the crowds. B-Mac with his athletic finishes around the rim, both with shooting, and Jimmer with play making.
This line-up might also turn DMC into an assist machine, or give him an iso big left down low that poor other sucker DMC's to destroy.
PP and DMC would both have plenty of room and who would you dare double? Throw in a serviceable SF and this could be a killer look at times. (Not saying you start with this, but I want to see this lineup, and see what happens with it).
