The Kings have lost 5 straight and a big reason why you see these losses is the starting lineup and the rotations. It sounds like Coach Malone will shake things up and this is what I propose.
I know some people would start IT but I think he brings so much energy from off of the bench. With GV starting with BMac, he will get BMac, Jimmer and PPat more looks which will open things up for Cousins.
1ST SUBSTITUTION - 4-7 MINUTES INTO THE 1ST QUARTER
1st subs will be IT and Moute to replace PPat and GV. This will give you a very quick lineup that will spread the floor.
2ND SUBSTITUTION - 10-11 MINUTES INTO THE 1ST QUARTER
Travis Outlaw and Ndiaye for Jimmer and Cousins. Move BMac to 2 guard with IT and Outlaw to SF.
3RD SUBSTITUTION - 3 MINUTES INTO THE 2ND QUARTER
Jimmer and Cousins for BMac and Ndiaye. Now you have IT, Jimmer, Outlaw, Moute and Cousins on the floor.
4TH SUBSTITUTION - 6 MINUTES INTO THE 2ND QUARTER
Bring in PPat and for Moute and Malone has the flexibility to bring in GV or leave IT out there.
5TH SUBSTITUTION - 8 MINUTES INTO 2ND QUARTER
BMac for Outlaw
You also have Salmons, Thornton, Hayes and Thompson to sprinkle in when needed. For instance, if you want Cousins to sit a little longer, leave Ndiaye out there longer if he's doing well or put in Hayes for a few minutes before bringing Cousins back in.
I think this rotation will win games but I'm not sure about making the Playoffs. With a deep draft next year with Wiggins and Parker on the clock, the Kings might want to keep their eyes on the bigger picture. Next year with BMac, Wiggins/Parker and Cousins at the 2, 3 and 5 would look really good.
