Isaiah Thomas dropped 18 points and 10 assists in the Rising Stars Challenge on Friday. His team won handily.
Isaiah Thomas was arguably the first half MVP of the 2013 Rising Stars Challenge on Friday. He had 14 quick points and five assists, shooting the ball beautifully and throwing lobs for Kenneth Faried. Zeke focused more on passing and played less in the second half, and ended up finishing the game with 18 points and 10 assists. He was a game-best 4-6 on threes and was a game-high +30 in 21 minutes.
Faried ended up as the deserving game MVP with 40 points on 18-22 shooting plus 10 rebounds. He even hit a corner three! He's a helluva player.
Thus concludes Sacramento's official involvement in All-Star Weekend. We'll have an All-Star Saturday open thread at 5.
