Thank Vlade, the Kings did not trade Tyreke Evans at the deadline.

Despite rumors to the contrary, the Kings did not trade Tyreke Evans at the NBA deadline on Thursday. He will remain in Sacramento until season's end, at least. He'll become a restricted free agent on July 1. Assuming the Kings extend a qualifying offer, the Kings will be able to match any offer sheet he signs with another team. It's hard to imagine him signing a deal for less than a pretty penny, given what Eric Gordon made last summer.

The Kings' only deal of the year will go down as Thomas Robinson, Francisco Garcia and Tyler Honeycutt for Patrick Patterson, Cole Aldrich and Toney Douglas. Don't be surprised if Douglas is cut soon as the Kings couldn't find a good home for Aaron Brooks. Brooks is guaranteed money for next season unless he signs away his $3 million player option much earlier than required (which he won't do). If the Kings were to waive Brooks, they'd still need to pay him for next season, unless he agrees to a lesser amount.

Chuck Hayes, Travis Outlaw and John Salmons all remain on the roster, too. Godspeed, brothers.
