Favorite Players in the NCAA Tournament

Stay connected for news and updates

As the tournament gets under way tonight with the first of the play-in games, who are some of the players who you are looking forward to getting a better look at? Specifically, which players are you looking forward to looking at whom you would like to see the Kings draft? Also, if you know of any lesser known players that you think can play, I'd love to hear it.

Some of mine:

At PG, Trey Burke: I love this guy. He can shoot and pass extremely well. I haven't been able to watch him much this year, but his stats are awesome. The knock against him is that he isn't an elite athlete and he is a little under the ideal size (6'1" I think). I know we have IT, but if we trade down and get rid of the some of the guards clogging our backcourt, he is a player I would not mind drafting.

I also really like Matthew Delevadova of St. Mary's. As a Gonzaga student, I've hated his guts for the past three years, but I respect his game. He is excellent coming off the pick and roll, and has amazing court vision. He is a decent 3 point shooter, but would make his mark in smart play coming off the bench. He's really only a viable option in the second round, so we would have to make a trade for a late second round pick.

As a SF Otto Porter is a guy I really like, but I also like (slightly biased) Elias Harris of Gonzaga. Again, we would need to trade for a second round pick to get him. But he is a guy who can rebound, stretch the floor with his mid range jump shot, and knows how to play defense. In college he has been a 4 but his size would necessitate a move to the 3 spot. With his athleticism, he should be able to handle that change.

Obviously, that's not all the players who could be a good fit for the Kings, just a few. Who are you guys looking forward to watch?
