It's over! Let's celebrate! High five, hug, kiss, make love or do whatever it is you do to experience joy. But please...PLEASE, don't troll Seattle fans and sites. Leave them alone.
This easily could have gone the other way and we wouldn't want them on our sites or engaging us on Twitter. Even if your intentions are sympathetic and true, they do not want to hear from us right now. Maybe it will be weeks before they want a dialogue, maybe months, maybe never.
They are hurt, and as much as you may not like some of them, one should never kick someone while they are down. Please don't let your emotions or alcohol consumptions get the better of you at this time. Let bygones be bygones and rise above the attitudes.
I've said a number of times that it is somewhat a blessing that the hate and talk has been limited to the internet forums. let's not escalate this any further that it might spill out into reality. Emotions are frayed on both sides. Let's all heal and talk Kings basketball. This is Sactown Royalty...a Kings basketball forum. Let's keep it that way.
UPDATE: 8:50 pm
I didn't post this for it to be a Seattle vent forum.
Please don't post complaints of Seattle or things said on SR. That was never my intent. I was actually hoping for something of the opposite. What that is....I don't know? We've been so neck deep in this we really have lost track of everything else Kings related.
I'm sorry if it ever came across as a Seattle vent place. I'm just as happy as the rest of you but wanted to point out that others are feeling the opposite, so please take them into consideration.
How about this...since we should not go to SR or other Seattle forums, how about posting positive remarks only here. If they wish to come over and read, let this be a place where they are not threatened, teased, or vilified. Ok?
That being said... EXPAND TO 31.
