Spent a week and a half in the Houston/Galveston area for a family reunion. 90 or so of my relatives gathered together in a 90 - 95 degree (seemingly) 300 percent humidity group of beach houses. I can only describe it as walking in a constant, hot fog blowing off the water. It was a great time though.
But, I digress. The radio stations down there are all Dwight Howard, All the time. The people I heard while driving were speaking as if it is a done deal. All but the signing. They seem to believe that the Rockets have it in the bag. I almost hope they do, as much as for what it will do the the [REDACTEDS] as for what it will do for the Rockets.
As for the Kings, I am a little torn. I don;t like the thought of moving Tyreke, although I understand that, essentially, the entire roster is a fluid work-space. Nobody should be off limits. I would like to believe their is a plan, and road-map to creating the vision the new ownership and front office sees for this team. I HAVE to believe this s the case, although I give this team a pass for next season. I don't expect it to be better. I HOPE it is. Although Wiggins sure looks good to these eyes.
Sorry for the rambling, I am still catching up on my rest from the vacation in the energy sapping humidity of the Gulf.
